Natasha Andrews

London based professional singer and vocal coach with over 20 years experience. 

As a professional singer Natasha has been the lead vocalist with Chicane since 2004 where she has extensively toured Worldwide and featured as their lead vocalist on the single ‘Hiding all the Stars”.  Natasha has been a backing vocalist for many high profile artists including Lemar, Diana Ross, Rosie Gaines, Take That and Madonna on tours and live shows as well as TV and radio. Natasha is also a lead singer with a variety of high profile function bands offering music to the corporate, private, charity and Music Industry sectors.

Vocal coaching

From industry professionals to complete beginners.

As a Vocal Coach Natasha has privately coached one-to-one lessons with a variety of students from industry professionals who frequent the charts, to upcoming artists, improvers and complete beginners.  She has also provided vocal coaching courses and workshops for the youth and public sectors, Business sectors (Channel Four) and private and community projects. Natasha is DBS checked for working with young people and vulnerable people groups and has extensive experience working with teens. Natasha also worked as the Voice Tutor on the Music & Theology degree course at London School of Theology for 4 years (2011-2015).

In 2014 Natasha Pioneered a choir initially for local Mum’s in Ealing, West London offering fun and support for those on maternity leave with young babies which later progressed into the ‘Me-Time Pop Choir’ which is open to all, after the well-being properties of group singing became more apparent.  The choir has since grown in strength and reputation.

Natasha is currently studying for a degree in Psychology and hopes to combine her extensive experience and knowledge of the music industry with the psychology training to offer a more holistic approach to voice coaching, as well as more effective performance coaching and confidence building for clients.

The Me-Time Pop Choir is open to anyone who loves singing, and wants to try something new or just wants to get out of the house, meet some new people and have fun. The emphasis is on having a good time and new members are always welcome with no previous experience or audition needed.

Having completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with Counselling Theory and receiving a first class honours, followed by an MA in Music Psychology at Sheffield University (Distinction), Natasha Hendry (she/her) is currently a PhD psychology student at the University of West London with joint supervision from the London College of Music. Her research interests lay in Music Psychology, specifically in relation to Education, Performance and Wellbeing. Current projects are based around mental health, wellbeing and the Arts and social justice in music education and industry for marginalised people-groups.
